Hi David!, Here are some pictures of a 1967 prototype ridge runner.
Made in Wahpeton ND.  Made by the Keller boys. Ben Shearer.

I can't think of all the guys but I know Two Keller boys and about 5 other guys made it in Wahpeton.
It had an old ford engine out of a pickup, the Keller boys invented the Bobcat skid steer.
The machine it's self is sitting 10 miles away on the son (Dale Keller) of one of the brothers.
I'm getting all my information from Dale, he has a production ridge runner that has had the hydraulic drive system taken
out and fixed. The ridge runner was stated on the idea of the "buggie", one of the founders of ridge runner was one of the
5 that built the machine. Dale remembers that the steering was reversed so if you pulled the two levers toward you it
would go forward and if you pushed away it would go in reverse. Dale wants to in the future get it in operation order and
put it in the county museum in Forman ND or if he lets me bring it back to life I would bring it to a years worth of shows
then donate it to a Antique Snowmobile museum. keep up the site! Ben
