This was recently for sale on ebay.
The person selling it, says his dad built it.
See the text in red below as it appeared in the ebay ad.

Dale Schellbach my dad is the builder of the first 3 cylinder Arctic Cat engine.
Two of his engines were put into the first Boss Cat. Boss Cat history can be read on website
bosscatlegacy.com . My dad then built Watishi the Cat but this time using expansion chamber pipes
instead of megaphone style exhaust which was used on the Boss Cat. Which is why the hood ended
up being so long. The hood is originally made for the Boss Cat 2. My dad shortend to fit the sled.
This is a great peice from Arctic Cat history. If the buyer chooses local pick-up he will get to meet
Dale Schellbach who is now 83 yrs old. And he said he would sign the hood if you like. 
He's hoping it goes into a collection where it will be cared for. 
The hood is the only remain piece from the sled that he knows of.
